This program gives you the possibility to turn a web page or a whole web site into a PDF document.
The application is more than simple. You don't need advanced knowledge regarding the process implied because everything is predefined. The program provides three different methods of conversion, having as input a single web page, a file containing list of sites, or an entire site where the program should look for all possible links. I want to emphasize that the only restriction of this trial is a watermark placed at the top of each output page.
There are distinctive buttons for each option. If you choose to copy a single web page or an entire web site, a click on the specific button opens a distinctive window where you should paste the correct URL, no matter how long it is. In case you have saved a list of links you were sometime interested in, you can upload it easily. The next step is to choose among three converting methods, according to your Internet speed. You can verify the stage of conversion by using the progress bar.
Probably the developer wanted to create a program as simple as possible so that everyone could use it, however, I think it is too simple. I didn't like that I couldn't set myself the page layout. Moreover, a preview option would have been appropriate, because I noticed that there are some distortions between the source of conversion and the output PDF file. And, perhaps the most important aspect ... I consider to be a drawback the fact that you can't pause or cancel the process. In addition, the status of the transition should offer more detailed information - for instance, what number of pages will be converted. All this being said, I personally would look for alternatives if I want to get more quality.
- Intuitive interface
- Simple conversion process
- Can't pause the conversion
- No preview
